Welcome to the Objective-Cloud demo app. This little app showcases a few things you can do with Objective-Cloud. Keep in mind: What you see here is only a tiny demo. You are not limited in any significant way when writing code for Objective-Cloud. Your apps can be as simple as this demo or it can be enormously complex. Objective-Cloud does not really care. As you probably know Objective-Cloud allows you to develop request-based apps as well as invocation-based apps. Request-based apps can be anything e.g.: a Restful web-application, a simple web site or something else we haven't thought of. Invocation-based apps give you a lot less control but offer much more convenience: You use it when you want your client to invoke methods which are implemented on the server (in your app).
We have prepared a few demos which show what you can do by using Apple's great frameworks.
The demo app implements a few simple methods that you can play with.
This method simply creates a new UUID and returns it as an NSString. Use the following command in Terminal to invoke this method:
This method simply adds two numbers and returns the result as an NSNumber. Use the following command in Terminal to invoke this method:
You pass this method an NSString which is returned as is. Use the following command in Terminal to invoke this method:
This methods expects a mathematical expression in the form of an NSString. It then evaluates the expression and returns the result as an NSNumber. Use the following command in Terminal to invoke this method:
